About the Show

Offering renewed hope from God’s Word

Each week night on Hope In The Night, June Hunt gently works through some of life’s most painful problems with callers. We often hear from callers who are desperate for answers: “I’m not sure I can do this anymore … I feel so alone. … Where is God? I thought He cared about me!” Often, listeners find themselves examining their own circumstances and listen with anticipation as June Hunt shares wisdom from God’s Word that offers renewed hope.

Listeners who tune in to Hope In The Night quickly realize that the program is one of a kind. The unique intimacy of late-night radio gives listeners the opportunity of having someone like June speak directly into their lives.”

As June helps her guest personally, she shares God’s heart and steps to solutions on topics like alcohol and drug abuse, anger, divorce, reconciliation, abortion, domestic violence, homosexuality, loneliness, self-worth, teenagers, and more.

There are no in-studio guests on Hope In The Night − just June Hunt and her announcer/co-host, veteran Christian broadcaster Rich Hooper. The “guests” on this program are the callers, who are treated with careful respect. June’s compassionate and patient approach makes a lasting impact on the callers, giving them greater understanding of God’s Word and providing steps to solutions that help transform their lives.

Hope In The Night has celebrated 20 years of late-night ministry. The program has been nominated as the National Religious Broadcasters’ “Talk Show of the Year” in 2007 and named “Radio Program of the Year” by station WDCX in Buffalo, New York in 2011.
